Tech Mahindra, a provider of IT services and telecom solutions, has announced a joint with Motorola Inc. to develop mobile application solutions.
The joint venture company called CanvasM will implement end-user applications and content services, consistent service creation, and a delivery and management framework utilising Motorola's Global Applications Management Architecture (GAMA).
CanvasM will deliver customized applications through a dedicated staff that specializes in addressing the varying needs of customers. The portfolio includes messaging, location-based services, entertainment, e-commerce and enterprise productivity applications.
CanvasM will be headquartered in Noida, India and have two research and development centres, one in Noida and another in Bangalore.
Tech Mahindra will invest USD 10 million and Motorola will contribute USD 2.5 million to the venture.
