3i Infotech Wins Asia Insurance Industry Award for Second Year in Succession

For the second year in succession, 3i Infotech Asia Pacific has won the coveted "Service Provider of the Year" Award at the prestigious 10th Asia Insurance Industry Awards ceremony 2006 held at Brunei Darussalam.

3i Infotech impressed the panel of judges this year with its end to end Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), which the company claims uses the latest web-based technologies to meet the challenges of today's Internet driven world.

Speaking about the prestigious award, 3i Infotech President Asia Pacific Mr. Debneel Mukherjee said "that the award is the recognition of the pioneering work and innovation led research and development that 3i Infotech has been undertaking for the insurance industry in the region".

3i Infotech Limited, an information technology solutions provider in the banking, finance, insurance, e-Governance, manufacturing, retail and distribution verticals has reported a robust 45% increase in customer base and 55% growth in revenue this year.

Audited by KPMG, the Asia Insurance Industry Awards were selected by a panel of 22 judges, drawn from regulators, industry leaders and association leaders from the Asian and global market. The awards attracted more then 750 nominees across 15 categories of excellence for the insurance industry.
