Farmed Deploys Juniper to Increase WAN Performance in Brazil

Juniper Networks has announced that Farmed, a Brazilian pharmaceuticals and cosmetic products distributor, has increased its Wide-Area Network (WAN) performance by deploying the Juniper Networks WX application acceleration platforms at multiple locations throughout Brazil. The deployment is being completed with the assistance of Juniper's local partner, Techinova.

"Today, we cannot imagine our business running efficiently without the Juniper Networks WX platforms," states Joao Alberto Rodrigues, CIO at Farmed. "If the network stops running, our business stops too. We have achieved significant performance improvements with the network, enabling us to use the excess WAN capacity for other applications, such as VoIP, image broadcast and video conferences via WAN."
