Juniper Routers, Firewalls, SSL VPN and IDP Solutions Fortify MPLS-based WAN

Juniper Networks has announced that Deposit Insurance of Vietnam (DIV) has secured its national Wide Area Network (WAN) with the Juniper Networks enterprise routing and network security solutions. The Juniper Networks J-series routers, NetScreen firewalls, Secure Access SSL VPNs, and Intrusion Detection and Prevention (IDP) appliances ensure DIV’s distributed locations and remote users have secure connectivity to various resources.

"Using Juniper platforms, we built a completely new IP network from scratch," said Doan Minh Tuan, DIV’s chief technology officer. "We wanted a next-generation converged IP infrastructure to operate mission-critical services. Because of our importance to Vietnam’s financial stability, and our absence of legacy technologies, we started with a clean slate and selected network equipment on the basis of performance, security and scalability."
