Gartner Gives Thumbs Up for Oracle Application Server 10g

Oracle has announced that Oracle Application Server 10g, a component of Oracle Fusion Middleware, has been positioned in the Leaders Quadrant of Gartner’s Magic Quadrant for Enterprise Application Servers, 2Q06.

As part of its Magic Quadrant for Enterprise Application Servers 2Q06 report, Gartner notes that the application server market is evolving to address changes in business application architectures. The report cites Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA), open source software, event-driven architecture (EDA) and high-end extreme transaction processing as key market drivers.
