ILOG'S Chief Product Officer Re-Elected To W3C Advisory Board
ILOG’s Chief Product Officer Jean Francois Abramatic has been re-elected to the Advisory Board of the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). A W3C founder and its former chairman, Abramatic joins eight other advisory board participants to provide ongoing guidance to the W3C on issues of strategy, management, legal matters, process and conflict resolution, as well as recommend which industry and technology issues require action by the W3C, the leading Web standards organization.
"The Advisory Board is an important vehicle for ensuring that the W3C receives input from the industry and its leading citizens," said Tim Berners Lee, director, W3C. "We're happy to once again have Jean Francois' insights on the board, which come from his extensive experience with Web standards, as well as his experience implementing them and understanding how they impact users."
As ILOG's Chief Product Officer, Abramatic is responsible for product vision, strategy, design and development, as well as product marketing and management, and has recently added corporate marketing to his list of senior management responsibilities.
