Ultra Portable ASUS U5F Notebook Launched in India

Asus has rolled out the12-inch notebook, the U5F, in India. The laptop is eco-friendly as all its parts from interior components to exterior housing and paint are environment friendly and comply with RoHS regulations Directive 2002/95/EC.

It's the notebook, which combines aesthetics, style and a whole gamut of latest desirable features all rolled into a very compact, slim and light package. We are confident that people who are always on the move and prefer to have a light feature rich notebook, are going to love it."

The notebook weighs 1.4kg with a touch pad design allowing users to type and navigate the cursor in one fluid operation. It incorporates the incorporated ‘Splendid Color Enhancement Engine’ technology, which allows the 12.1″ LCD screen to displays images with enhanced contrast, brightness, and skin tone and color saturation for vivid presentations.

Equipped with Dual Core processors, the U5F enables users to simultaneously run demanding applications, such as running virus scan while talking on Skype and surfing the Net. It even has Bluetooth Enhanced Data Rate V2.0+(EDR) that allows omni directional wireless connection and enables a high data transfer rate of 2.1 Mbps that is three times faster than standard Bluetooth without EDR.

The notebook is priced at Rs 79,000 with a two-year warranty and is available through authorized Asus dealers.
