Eclipse SDK 3.2 Registers Over 1.28 Million Downloads
The Eclipse SDK 3.2 release just registered over 1.28 million downloads, and an additional 27,000 downloads using BitTorrent (a whopping 2%), says Denis Roy. The busiest day according to him was the 3rd of July, 2006, when the SDK was downloaded 27,000 times. Denis has also posted a list of the countries from where all the traffic came from:

In an update, Denis presents another perspective of the statistics, broken down by Downloads per million population. The result: almost 2 in every thousand people in Switzerland downloaded Eclipse SDK 3.2.
In separate news, IDC has just made available a new research report that estimates there to be 2.27 million Eclipse users worldwide. The report also breaks it out by region.
