Sybase iAnywhere Debuts New Wireless AvantGo Software For BlackBerry

Sybase iAnywhere has unveiled the AvantGo mobile Internet service, featuring a wireless experience that enables users to have access to their favorite Web content, automatically synchronised to their mobile device. The beta software for BlackBerry handsets, from Research In Motion (RIM) is available for download giving users the opportunity to test-drive the new service.
The new beta software gives BlackBerry users the ability to view mobile channels while on the go, optimised for their mobile device.

"We are very excited to share with our customers AvantGo,” said Mark Wilson, vice president, On Demand Services, at Sybase iAnywhere. “We expect that BlackBerry subscribers will be just as excited. With the new version of AvantGo, BlackBerry users can expect access to optimised Web content."
