Satyam Computer has announced the launch of a SAP training academy as part of an agreement with SAP India. The academy will train Satyam professionals in current and future SAP solutions to develop a large pool of consultants certified on SAP solutions (additional 1,500 plus) over the next two years.
"We look forward to creating a pool of SAP specialists by providing our associates a world-class platform to develop the requisite skills and knowledge on SAP products," company's senior vice-president and Director, Manish Mehta, said.
This large-scale training initiative reinforces the company's strategy to bolster its expertise in SAP solutions and aligns with the growing demand for cutting-edge SAP professionals in the global marketplace, Mehta said.
"Satyam's training academy will develop a large pool of certified consultants, including more than 750 trained on different components of the SAP NetWeaver platform, which will enable Satyam to take advantage of the growing worldwide momentum for SAP NetWeaver and enterprise services architecture," SAP India president and CEO, Alan Sedghi, said.
