Actis Technologies Enters Eastern India AV market Projected at Rs 300 Crore by 2010

Actis Technologies, a provider of audiovisual and environment control solutions in India has announced its expansion plans to grow in East India. As a part of this initiative it announced the opening of its regional office in Kolkata. The company also announced the appointment of its new Channel Sales Manager for Kolkata, Mr. Monish Chakraborty.

The company currently has 500 partners across India, which includes a sizeable ambit of office automation, audiovisual & information technology community. It plans to appoint 50 channel partners in the region within one year of commencing operations in Eastern India.

Abhimanyu Gupta, Director, Actis Technologies, commenting on the expansion plan said, “The market in East India is fast growing especially with the entrance of multinationals and IT & ITES companies. The latest expansion is inline with the strategic focus we are taking to meet the growing business. To drive this growth further we will appoint specialised dealers and will introduce the latest technology products catering to the demand of today’s corporates”

Monish Chakraborty will spearhead business development in the region. He has experience in the channel sales segment, which spans over a period of seventeen years with organisations in West Bengal.
