Dopod 585 for a Style Statement

Dopod International, a PDA phone and Smartphone provider, has unveiled the Dopod 585, a new device jam-packed with entertainment features and new usability options. The new Dopod 585 sports a white hot look and comes along with a set of all-white accessories, including headphones and a leather mobile
phone case. Images shot with Dopod 585's built-in 1.3 Megapixel CMOS camera can be shared Bluetooth v1.1. You can also match entries in your address book with their pictures so that you'll always know who is calling with Photo Caller ID.

With Dopod 585's music playing keys, users can quickly access a playback list of their favourite songs
by simply pressing the "stop", "play", "forward" and "back" buttons. With its storage capacity of 64 MB built-in memory and up to 1GB of expandable memory with the additional mini SD card, the Dopod 585 can store up to 10 CDs (Assumption is 1min of music = 1 MB; 1 CD = 80mins of music; 10 CDs = 800mins = 800MB). Users can also play other media files on Windows Media Player.

The Dopod 585's tri-band and GPRS features lets you stay connected everytwhere and lets you communicate with your peers with the Microsoft Pocket MSN. You can aslo read and send emails, schedule appointments, manage "to-do" lists and update contacts through the bundled Microsoft Pocket Outlook. And of course you can also surf the web with Microsoft Pocket Internet Explorer.

Dopod has established a partnership with mobile service provider, M1 for the launch and distribution of the Dopod 585. The Dopod 585 is available from March 24, 2006, at a suggested retail price of Singapore Dollars 198 with a 2-year plan with M1.
