Juniper Claims Protection From New Microsoft Vulnerabilities
Juniper has claimed that its Intrusion Detection and Protection (IDP) security systems and ISG firewall/virtual private network (VPN) systems with IDP are able to protect customers against the three new Microsoft vulnerabilities.
The three vulnerabilities of Microsoft are first, MS06-018, which is vulnerability in Microsoft distributed transaction coordinator that could allow denial of service. Second is MS06-019, vulnerability in exchange server that could lead to remote code execution. And last is MS06-020, which is Flash Player Improper Memory Access Vulnerability.
