Manpower Recognised by IDG for Visionary IT Governance
Recruitment company Manpower has received this year’s Laureate in the "Business and Related Services" category from IDG's Computerworld Honors Program. Manpower was recognised for a visionary IT governance model that leverages CA Clarity IT Governance solution to strategically align IT with business goals.
Dan Greer, Manpower's director of IS finance and governance said, "By providing deep insight into and full control over every aspect of our IT operations, CA Clarity played a key role in our efforts to revolutionise the way we deliver IT and meet the needs of our business."
"The Computerworld Honors Program recognises organisations that have demonstrated outstanding and visionary applications of technology," said Bob Carrigan, president of IDG Communications and the chairman of the Chairmen's Committee of the Honors Program.
CA said its CA Clarity was instrumental in helping Manpower establish a structured, flexible IT governance process that resulted in streamlined communications, improved efficiency and reduced costs.
Manpower will join other 2006 Laureate recipients at the 18th Annual Laureates Medal Ceremony & Gala Awards Evening taking place on June 5, 2006 at the Andrew W. Mellon Auditorium in Washington, D.C. During the ceremony, the judges will also select 50 finalists, five in each of the 10 categories: Business and Related Services; Education and Academia; Environment, Energy and Agriculture; Finance, Insurance and Real Estate; Government and Non-Profit Organizations; Manufacturing; Media, Arts and Entertainment; Medicine; Science; and Transportation.
