Bangladesh’s mobile phone operator GrameenPhone Ltd. is to deliver integrated business management solutions for its 100 GrameenPhone Centers (GPCs) in partnership with Microsoft Dynamics.
These GPCs would integrate all customer services at a one stop location, conveniently located throughout the nation, Microsoft said in a statement. This project also marks the expansion of Microsoft Dynamics into the Bangladesh market.
Together with Spinnovation Ltd., a local software and IT services company, GrameenPhone will deploy Microsoft Dynamics, Landsteiner Retail Solution and Point of Sales system, on 500 point of sales terminals across these 100 GPCs in the next three months. The first two GrameenPhone centers have already gone live with the solution.
"Our aim was to integrate product and services information, sales, customer management and payment into a single location and environment, making it easy and pleasant for our customers," said Ingvald Lyche, Director, Sales & Distribution Division, GrameenPhone.
