Pune-based banking solutions provider Autosoft Systems Ltd has inked a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Temenos, a global banking software company, based in Switzerland. Temenos, which has a client base of over 500 international financial institutions, will be represented by Autosoft Systems in the Saarc countries. As per the MoU, Autosoft Systems would be undertaking sales, support and deployment activities and would also act as the integration partner for Temenos products.
"Autosoft will invest around Rs 2 crore in setting up the necessary infrastructure to facilitate the activities for Temenos and would be recruiting close to 100 software professionals by December. It is targeting 100 per cent growth over the past year's revenue figure of Rs 6 crore," said a company statement. The company has provided software solutions to over 650 branches of various cooperative banks across six states in the country.
"With this tie-up we would now be targeting to provide core-banking solutions to the bigger size banks in India," said company officials.
