Lawson Software has appointed Travis White as senior vice president of marketing. White joined Lawson in April 2006 from JD Edwards where he held various executive roles during the past nine years, including vice president for marketing in Europe, Middle East and Africa. As Lawson's SVP of marketing, White is responsible for Lawson's global marketing and corporate communications efforts. He reports to Lawson President and Chief Executive Officer Harry Debes.
"Travis brings Lawson more than 20 years of experience in shaping corporate strategies and delivering marketing messages," Debes said. "His track record of success in ERP applications and his extensive experience outside the United States make him a strong addition to Lawson as we target new revenue opportunities around the world."
"This is an exciting time to be part of Lawson as the new company offers customers a compelling alternative to the 'big two' in the global ERP market," said White. "I look forward to helping make Lawson the preferred ERP provider for organizations that want to simplify their use of ERP applications, streamline business processes and enhance performance."
