Datacraft Asia Deploys Salesforce.com to 300 Users
Datacraft, an IT services company in Asia Pacific, has successfully improved sales forecasting and performance with salesforce.com’s Sales Force Automation (SFA), said the on-demand business services company. According to Salesforce.com, it has helped Datacraft achieve 13 consecutive quarters of growth in an increasingly competitive operating environment. "Salesforce.com’s on-demand model has allowed us to automate what were previously time-consuming manual processes. This immediately provided us with 50% more visibility of the sales pipeline," said Eddie Palmer, Head of Business Development at Datacraft. "We have now extended the use of on-demand across our entire business giving us far greater control over our development and fiscal processes, together with the ability to react more quickly to customer demands."
Datacraft also plans to capitalize on the on-demand capabilities of salesforce.com’s AppExchange platform, which will allow the company to rollout and integrate their customized solutions globally. "We have been impressed with the flexibility of the salesforce.com applications, and now with the AppExchange, we will not only customize our existing CRM applications but use the AppExchange as an on-demand platform to extend its benefits globally," added Palmer. "This has validated what we've known from the beginning that we made the right choice with salesforce.com."
With Salesforce.com’s AppExchange platform, businesses can browse, test drive and install applications developed on the platform. Through the platform, Datacraft will be able to extend its on-demand environment and business offerings to customers by building and sharing applications online, customizing applications to specific business needs, and consolidating new and existing applications into a single system in which all information can be accessed and shared online.
