BEA is Market Leader in Application Servers, Says Gartner

Analyst firm Gartner has placed BEA at the top spot in the application servers segment, based on total software revenue in 2005. Gartner has also positioned the company second overall in its application integration and middleware report. Highlights from the Gartner report include:

BEA is recognized as a tier one vendor in the overall application and integration middleware market
BEA is ranked in the top three in the portals, enterprise service bus and transaction processing monitors segments:
BEA is second in the transaction processing monitors segment
BEA is second in the portal products segment
BEA AquaLogic Service Bus rises to number three in the fastest growing middleware market segment – enterprise service bus – in first six months of production.
