Trend Micro Aids Small Businesses And ECommerce Sites With Worry-Free Security Solutions

Internet content security leader, Trend Micro Incorporated, is all set to enhance its flagship Worry-Free Security Solutions in Indian market.

According to the company, small businesses and eCommerce site owners require smarter, better-performing technology in order to conquer a more sophisticated Web threat, beyond conventional viruses and spam and Worry-Free Business Security 5.0 range is designed to perfectly fit the needs of these small business owners.

“IT market for Small Business and in particular the IT security market is still in high growth mode. Our strategic approach to security and our leadership in web threat protection are perfectly placed to lead this growing market over the next five years. We forecast the five-year CAGR for IT spending in Small Business at 12 percent, and a 20 percent growth for IT security, said Niraj Kaushik, Country Manager of Trend Micro India and SAARC.

Included in the line-up are Trend Micro’s first eCommerce security solutions, Worry-Free SecureSite, to protect customer information. Worry-Free SecureSite is a hosted service that protects online shoppers from hackers trying to exploit them by stealing credit card numbers, passwords and other important digital information. Threats and vulnerabilities from the Web are quickly identified and averted through Trend Micro’s worldwide network of threat experts.

With Trend Micro’s Web Threat Protection technology, Worry-Free Business Security 5.0 is for small businesses that are increasingly dependent upon the Web for their business. These solutions address evolving Web threats and the risks associated with a mobile workforce and stem from Trend Micro’s previous Worry-Free solutions and encompass solutions tailored to guard businesses with different Windows-based computing installations against hackers.

“We chose Trend Micro because of ease of use and cost effective security,” said Trend Micro partner Santosh Agrawal, CEO of Electro Sales Corporation. “It is easy to use, remotely manageable, with minimal installation effort.”

“SMBs in India do not have in-house IT Support Staff. They rely on their vendors for their IT support requirements. They require products, which can easily be managed without involvement of product experts. Remote support capabilities are bonus for them,” added Agrawal.
