HTC Unveils P3470 In The Indian Market



HTC Corporation, a provider of Microsoft Windows Mobile smart devices, has announced the launch of HTC P3470 in India, making it the latest addition to its product portfolio. Combining a lightweight design, large screen, navigation wheel, and macro lens, the P3470 sets a new standard in affordable smart phones that double as GPS-based devices, HTC claims.

P3470 is 108mm tall and offers interface for accessing Web pages, documents, messages and contact lists and more. It is Windows Mobile 6 device that sports a 2.8-inches QVGA TFT LCD touch-screen and 2 mega pixels camera, and bundles a 1GB microSD card; it comes with 256MB of Flash and 128MB of internal memory. According to the company, this phone comes with built-in GPS technology and delivers cutting edge mobile communications with a fully functional satellite navigation experience.

“The GPS enabled HTC P3470 integrates great form factors into an innovative and high-powered phone and aims to take location-based experiences to the next level.” said Mr. Ajay Sharma, Country Manager, HTC India. “We are very pleased to announce this addition to our product portfolio, continuing our commitment to usher in powerful and feature rich mobile devices to the Indian market.”

The HTC P3470 is available through all authorized resellers at a retail price of Rs. 19,900.
