ViewSonic Reveals New Line of LCD Monitors in India
ViewSonic Corp has rolled out its newest VX62 Series consumer LCD monitors including the 19-inches VX1962wm/p and the 22-inches VX2262wm/p. These displays tout industry-leading 20000:1 contrast ratio and color performance in a unique, multiuse design to enhance the PC entertainment experience and desktop computing, claimed the company.
The VX2262wm/p features a super clear panel that displays the most realistic black levels and drastically improves color quality. A 2ms response time, 1680X1050 native resolution and 300 nits of brightness (typ) are some of the other features of the 22-inch monitor.
On the other hand, VX1962wm/p is the market’s first 19-inch with the high-definition resolution of 1680x1050 resolution. The VX1962wm also boasts up to 2ms response time and has 6000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, making it the ultimate monitor for gaming and HD content enthusiasts. According to ViewSonic, this feature set combined with the high resolution panel is also ideal for movie production and engineering applications.
On the launch, Gautam Ghosh, country manager, ViewSonic Technologies India Pvt Ltd, said, “VX1962wm/p and VX2262wm/p allow users to enjoy games and movies on an ultra-sleek monitor without sacrificing on performance. It is specifically designed for those discerning users who look for a power-packed performance in style also factoring in the pride of ownership.”
Both new monitors include invisible stereo speakers with SRS WOW HD software that is activated by installing SRS Audio Soundbox (SAS) that comes with the monitors. Besides, they are compliant with environmental standards including TCO and ENERGY STAR, according to ViewSonic.
Backed by a three-year limited warranty on parts and labor, the ViewSonic monitors will be available in the Indian market at a price starting from Rs. 12500.
