Asus Unleashes ROG EN9600GT Graphics Card
Asus has introduced the new range of graphics card, Asus ROG (Republic of Gamers) EN9600GT MATRIX/HTDI/512M. The ROG MATRIX series is equipped with the Asus Super Hybrid Engine for automatic detection, and adjustments of voltage, clock setting and fan speeds. According to the company, the Hybrid Cooler Technology offers extreme or silent cooling according to gamers' needs.
Super Hybrid Engine featured in Matrix cards performs a two-fold function - first it auto-detects the GPU load, temperature, cooling and then adjusts the voltage, clock speeds and fan speeds in real-time as per the graphics requirement. For instance, when your graphics requirement is less, the engine will automatically adjust memory voltage accordingly.
The ROG EN9600GT graphics card runs on the Geforce 9600GT graphics engine and has a video memory of 512MB (DDR3). The clock speed of the engine, sahder and the memory is 655MHz, 1625 MHz and 1.8GHz respectively. The DVI maximum resolution is 2560x1600 while the Bus Standard is PCI Express.
The graphics card is HDPC compliant and has a HDMI Output as well as a D-Sub output via DVI to D-Sub adaptor. As for the HDTV Output and TV Output, it uses the HDTV Out cable and S-Video to composite option. The size of the card is 4.376 inches x9 inches.
Finally, the iTracker features four profiles to overclock and monitor the card for entry-level gamers - Optimized Mode, Gaming Mode, Power Saving Mode and Default Mode. The fifth option helps user customize the settings as per specific requirements.
