Pentax Unleashes Optio V20 Digital Camera
Pentax has revealed its new 8-mega pixel digital camera with 5X optical zoom, dubbed as Pentax Optio V20. Sporting a 3.0-inch LCD display it boasts approximately 230,000 dots, which offer clear images. Pentax Optio V20 measures approximately 97.5×56.5×23.5 mm and weighs in at around 145g.
The screen of the Optio V20 offers a viewing angle of 170 degrees from all directions. While an AR (Anti-Reflection) coat makes sure of a reduced reflection and suppressed outside light. The macro feature on the Optio V20 can zoom in as close as 10cm with no need to switch from the default autofocus mode. Combined with an improved Digital SR (shake reduction engine), close-ups ought to come out less blurry with the V20 than on previous models. The Optio V20 also boasts a high maximum ISO rating of 6,400.
The Pentax Optio V20 camera is further equipped with Face Recognition AF&AE feature. It detects and focuses on faces delivering optimum exposure. Moreover, the V20 boasts various functions such as Smile Capture and Blinking Detection.
Optio V20 supports Windows Vista operating system and has 51.1 MB of internal memory with microSD card slot. It is also compliant with PictBridge, DPOF functions, Exif Print and PRINT Image Matching III.
