NIIT Q4 Net Profit Rises
Software services provider NIIT Technologies Ltd. has reported a higher consolidated net profit of 192 million rupees for January-March quarter as against 169 million rupees a year ago.
Standalone net profit for the fourth quarter rose to 224.2 million rupees from 104.4 million rupees a year earlier.
The company said it added five new customers and obtained fresh business worth USD 31 million from them. The company's order book stood at USD 76 million at the end of the financial year.
The company's staff strength rose by 253 people and crossed the 3,500 mark during the quarter.
The company is setting up a software development center at Greater Noida with a capacity to house 10,000 people.
