Reliance, Intel to Extend Net Connectivity in Andhra

Current Issue

Reliance Communications has launched a joint program with Intel to offer Internet connectivity with Intel-powered PC in Andhra Pradesh. The offer will be implemented in association with genuine Intel dealers in the state who would act as point of sale dealers.

The internet connectivity will be offered on Reliance Netconnect platform, and user will not have to give the security deposit of Rs 500. However, a payment of Rs 1200 has to be paid, which will be reimbursed in the form of Internet usage worth that amount for three months.

The programmes covers cities such as Warangal, Tirupati, Tanuku, Rajahmundry, Ongole, Nizamabad, Nellore, Eluru, Karnool, Karimnagar, Kakinada, Guntur and Anantapur.

Reliance Communications said that the goal of this program is to increase Internet connectivity in small towns where lack of good connectivity has been the bottleneck so far.

The company plans to introduce similar services in other parts of the country.
