Fujitsu and SAP Strengthen Services Partnership
Fujitsu Limited and SAP AG have expanded their technology partnership in the services area, with. Fujitsu becoming a SAP global services partner and the first Japan-based services company to achieve this standard. Fujitsu and SAP will team worldwide to market and deliver SAP’s business applications based on Fujitsu’s platform products and consulting services.
While the formal partnership between Fujitsu and SAP began in 2000, the roots of the global technology partnership reach back to the founding days of SAP, based on the alliance with Fujitsu Siemens Computers.
Through their technology collaboration, Fujitsu contributed to the introduction of 'adaptive computing,' a capability of the SAP NetWeaver platform. The capability was brought to the marketplace as an IT infrastructure by Fujitsu; 'FlexFrame for mySAPTM Business Suite.'
“This is another milestone in SAP’s growing relationship with Fujitsu,” said Léo Apotheker, member of the executive board and president of Global Customer Solutions and Operations, SAP AG.
