Borland Acquires Legadero Software
Borland has snapped up Legadero Software, a strategic provider of IT Management and Governance solutions for software development and delivery. Legadero's market expertise and advanced technology extends Borland's existing Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) products and services, providing customers with new capabilities for demand management, project portfolio management (PPM), resource management, as well as process and asset management.
"Borland has become a valued partner to IT organizations that want to make the most of their software investments," said Scott Arnold, interim CEO of Borland. "The acquisition of Legadero is a natural extension to our leadership in this area, and is a key milestone in our vision of making software delivery predictable and manageable."
