Effective December 1, 2007, Christian will oversee all operations of Nokia Siemens Networks in the region. He takes over from Rajeev Suri who has been appointed Global Head of Services and a member of Nokia Siemens Networks' Executive Board. Christian was the Head of Operations and Business Software Business Unit at Nokia Siemens Networks prior to this appointment. He joined Nokia in 1994, and has held several executive level positions in the company in various locations.

Before joining Nokia, Christian worked as an Engineer and Project Manager in an IT department of a Finnish enterprise for five years.
