Asus and IDLDPL Brings P526 PDA Phone in India
Asus India along with Indian Digital Life Style Distributors Pvt. Ltd. (IDLDPL) has announced the launch of its P526 PDA phone in India. According to Asus the P526 PDA is a trendy looking and feature-packed phone, which aims to increase productivity with its business solution applications and weighs 115 Gms.
The numeric keyboard of P526 helps regular mobile phones users to make easy transition. It comes with software to allow keying in text using T9, the predictive text input method on devices like other models of mobile phones. The regular Windows Mobile text input methods are there too to enable MS Word, Excel and Power Point.
It features Windows Mobile 6 Professional, GPS, and a host of messaging enhancements. By integrating popular Windows Live mobile services, the P526 keeps users connected with communities, helping them find information quickly and without much hassle.
The P526 combines unlocked quad band with GPS in a single device, featuring the SiRFstar III chip and a 200MHz TI OMAP850 processor for power efficiency.
The phone also features 2 Mega-Pixel cameras and it supports both still and video recording. For video it features MPEG4 supporting 30 FPS QCIF video / Windows Media Player 10 Resolution.
Music lovers can also listen to their favourite numbers in various formats i.e.MP3, WMA, AAC, Midi, and WMV. The advantage is that it takes Micro-SD external storage besides 64 MB inbuilt memory, and WMV.
The new ASUS P526 PDA phone is priced at Rs.18, 990 with an MOP of Rs. 16,990 and is available in India through IDLDPL and all mobile stores.
