SMB’s to Benefit from Samsung’s New Printer

Current Issue

Samsung Electronics America, Inc., has expanded its Professional Printer Series with the launch of the CLP-610ND color laser printer.

The CLP-610ND is a color laser printer designed for small businesses and business workgroups. It uses a 360-MHz processor and its print queue is enhanced by a 64 MB RAM that is expandable to 384 MB.

"With the introduction of CLP-610ND, we are expanding on Samsung's 20+ year heritage of laser manufacturing and design experience to create a full featured printer with industry-leading reliability and easy-to-use features so businesses can continue their work day and save money and time," said Ken Colby, senior product manager, Samsung.

The CLP-610ND prints at resolutions of 2,400X600 and at speeds of up to 21 pages per minute at, according to the company, "a fraction of what it costs to send the job to a local copy store." It has an average monthly duty cycle of 65,000 pages and features auto-duplexing (one-pass, dual-sided printing).

"To further address the growing concerns of managing print costs, CLP-610ND includes an auto-duplex feature at no additional cost. This feature allows for the user to use both sides of the paper saving paper and energy," said Colby.

The CLP-610ND colour laser printer is priced at USD 399.99 and comes along with a one-year limited warranty.
