Nokia Dares the iPhone with Its Tube
At Evans Data developer conference in America, Vice president of Forum Nokia- Tom Libretto announced that they are developing the Nokia Tube, the first touchscreen device from Nokia.
There's nothing special one could say about "Tube" other than the fact that it looks unsurprisingly similar to the iPhone. "Tube" will function on the latest Symbian Series 60 platform. It will also support Java, and is likely to have HSPDA, WLAN, and uPnP connectivity options. Resembling Apple’s iPhone, the upcoming Nokia Tube will be equipped with 3.2 inch touchscreen display having 16 million colors, 3.2 MP camera with auto-focus and GPS.
Though Libretto did not reveal much information about the device, he stated that the Tube is the first touchscreen device from Nokia. As of now there is no word regarding its launch date and availability.
