The U6S laptop also incorporates 3.5G High-Speed Downlink Packet Access (HSDPA) wireless broadband capability, which according to the company, boosts current 3G download speeds by approximately 4 times, allowing users to connect to the Internet across cellular networks without the need to connect the computer to a mobile phone.

It also offers other security features like finger print authentication for securing your data, Trusted Platform Module (TPM) for data encryption, password retention and Asus CopyProtect, to prevent unauthorized reproduction of data in the notebook.

"The U6S is one of our premium notebooks which we are most pleased to release in India. This notebook epitomizes class and exudes a sense of style that is rare to find. Observing the increasing fashion consciousness amongst the Indian people, we're sure that a product offering such as the ASUS U6S will be a breath of fresh air amongst the notebooks currently available in the Indian market," said Stanley Wu, Product Manager, Notebooks, ASUS (India).
