Sonoa Announces the Availability of Service Delivery Controller (SDC) for BEA AquaLogic Platform
Sonoa Systems, a provider of appliances for in SOA and Web Services environments, has announced that it is integrating with products from the BEA AquaLogic family help optimize, accelerate and improve visibility and performance in distributed and heterogeneous environments.
Sonoa's ServiceNet appliance is designed to accelerate the BEA AquaLogic platform while also providing a hardware run-time governance solution for monitoring and policy enforcement of third party services, said the company.
As organizations develop a robust service portfolio, the proportion of cross-domain and cross-platform interactions increases as services are used in composite applications and to automate business processes that span organizational boundaries. Managing large scale service interactions across company and organizational boundaries in a secure and cost-effective manner is critical to a successful SOA.
According to the company, ServiceNet provides network and application services including security, caching, traffic management and policy enforcement. As a network-based appliance, ServiceNet is designed to provide a single point of control for monitoring service traffic and enforcing policies, allowing greater control over the usage, availability and reliability of services.
