Acronis Aid SMBs with Its New Server Backup Solution
Acronis, a provider of storage management and disaster recovery software, has revealed an application that enables small to mid-size businesses running Microsoft Small Business Server to backup and restore both physical and virtual servers.
Called Acronis True Image for Microsoft SBS, this application is purpose-built to meet the needs of SMBs and designed to provide all of the capabilities offered to large enterprises. Acronis has also bundled this Small Business Server backup application with the Acronis Universal Restore, a program that allows users to restore an image to entirely different hardware.
Acronis True Image for Microsoft SBS boast features like full, incremental and differential backup, enabling it to take a complete server disk image including operating system, application, settings, and data files. The company claims that it has a wizard driven interface that allows non-IT staff to perform a backup and system recovery with little or no training.
“This server provides SMBs with enterprise-level protection at a price that any small business can afford. Acronis True Image for Microsoft SBS and Acronis Universal Restore together make a more comprehensive and flexible solution for SMBs to protect their server operating systems and digital assets,” said Edward Lim, General Manager of Acronis Asia.
The server, which is immediately available in Singapore, is priced at USD 499.
