ActiveState Unleashes Komodo IDE 4.4 with Added Features
ActiveState Software has announced the release of Version 4.4 of Komodo IDE, a unified workspace for end-to-end development of dynamic Web applications. The upgraded version adds extension support for Unit Test Integration, allowing developers to choose their own testing frameworks. Apart from major bugfixes, listed below are a few changes among the rest:
· Improved Subversion (SVN), CVS, and Perforce functionality, which simplifies team development and project management with multi-file commits and a new Change List tab to track and group documents that have been edited.
· Asynchronous SCC operations were added.
· Zend framework autocompletion and a new Zend MVC project template have been added.
· Multi-file SCC Commit- The commit dialog now shows the SCC status of files you wish to commit and allows you to easily add or remove files from the commit operation.
The version 4.4 of Komodo IDE also adds in improved support for Perl, PHP, Python, Ruby and Tcl, HTML, CSS, JavaScript and XML. It is available as a free patch for all Komodo IDE 4.x license holders and Perl Pro Studio and Tcl Pro Studio subscribers, and supports Linux, Mac OS X and Windows.
