First Alpha of phpMyAdmin 3.0.0 Released
phpMyAdmin, a tool intended to handle the administration of MySQL over the Web, has been released with its first alpha of the version 3.0.0. This version supports various features of MySQL 5.1, the
Maria and
PBXT storage engines and SweKey hardware authentication.
Besides, according to the Changelog, version 3.0.0 will provide experimental
Mozilla Prism support and place for the representation of GUIs on JavaScript library
MooTools. The 3.0 series requires PHP 5.2+ and MySQL 5.0+.
